Our team
Design Build Associates is a small team under the leadership of the manager, a seasoned design build specialist Gene Pfeifer, dedicated to fulfilling the needs of the customer. Our focus is on supplying a design that's both safe and efficient, taking advantage of the natural landscape to create a "Feng Shui" design.
Our history
Design Build Associates roots originate in 1945 with the father of Gene Pfeifer, John A. Pfeifer. Gene has over fifty years of experience in the design build field and has brought it to DBA. When you work with Design Build Associates, you are getting the experience of Gene.
Our mission
"It's design build, not design bid". This is one of many sayings that Gene has, and it encompasses our mission exactly. It's about designing something that satisfies the costumer without emptying the bank. We do this through the Design Build Process.
The Design Build Process
Client
It starts with getting to know the desires and needs of the client. What do you want to accomplish? Do you want to build a new building or add an addition to an existing building? We get to know you so that we can begin a design that meets your needs.
Design
During the design process, we take a look at the challenges of the project and incorporate them into the design. We come up with a design and then share it with you to make sure that it meets your needs.
Budget
After the design has been hashed out and the potential difficulties solved, we create a budget. The budget gives you an idea of what it will cost to construct. With 150-line items, the cost of the project is broken down so that you can see the cost of every step. If you decide that it is out of your budget range, edits are undertaken to create a project within your budget.
